Some of our readers have been asking questions on how much is it to buy Lightroom? Especially the day we released the article on how to get Adobe Lightroom free. About Lightroom software.

Adobe Lightroom is a software programmed by Adobe systems for cataloguing, organising and editing of photos. It is an all-in-one tool. It is a deviation from Photoshop which is made for editing only. Lightroom is meant for use by photographers.

Lightroom does not have an in-depth manipulation. The layering, selection Nd compositing tools are not as in-depth as Photoshop. The adjustments offered by Adobe Lightroom are nondestructive. It is very fast and efficient for all forms of photo repairs and enhancement.

Before we move on to reveal the Adobe Lightroom price, let us take a look at some of the brilliant features of this software.

Since 2017, Adobe Lightroom was split into two – new Lightroom CC and the Lightroom classic. The new Lightroom CC is based on Adobe cloud storage. It is slimmer, more efficient and fast. The Lightroom classic is still based on the old desktop storage model. Users can choose to get only one or both of the versions.

The entire image library of your device is available on the Lightroom and on any other device that is connected to your Adobe account. The low down in this is that users will require a very large storage in order to keep all the images.

With Lightroom software, you can synchronize your image collections on another computer. Anywhere editing is possible with this great app.

Lightroom offers a simple image organising tool. It has four stages in its workflow – First is the importing of images, then the organizing of the images and later the editing of the images and finally the sharing of the images.

Lightroom supports JPEGS, TIFF files, PSD files and raw files from multiple cameras.

System requirements:

  • multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support

How much is Lightroom?

The old lightroom Classic has no contender as the most powerful version. The only lowdown is its complexity.  The new Lightroom classic cloud is simpler and more trendy. This simplicity does not come cheaply. Adobe is effectively charging much for the Lightroom CC.  Users are paying £9.98 for those in the UK, $9.99 for US and non-US while Au$14.29 in Australia per month for online data storage of 1TB. This Lightroom CC plan is coming with Lightroom only and not with Photoshop.

The photography plan gives both the Lightroom and the Photoshop CC at the same price as the Lightroom CC plan but you will not be given the 1TB storage.

Another plan available is the photography plan with 1TB storage: This plan offers users with the Lightroom CC, the lightroom classic, the Lightroom for mobile and web as well as Photoshop CC and 1TB storage. It costs £19.97/$19.99/AU$28.59 per month.
