If your official emails are still the Gmail and Yahoo as a company that has a website and you wish to create official emails for your company; then use this tutorial to your benefit and start using your customized email addresses.

The most commonly created webmail is the popular ‘info@’. Aside from this type of email address, we are also going to see how to even attach your names when creating a webmail like victor@nollytech.com.

Examples of official Webmail addresses are info@mywebsite.com, support@mywebsite.com, sales@mywebsite.com, noreply@mywebsite.com and so on.

How to Create Webmail Account Easily.

In order to Create webmail, you will require that you have a Cpanel hosted account. Also, be sure that your hosting company made provisions for webmail services.

  • Login to your website’s control panel. Open your browser. On the Address bar, type in your website’s URL followed by a forward slash (/) and CPanel. Example, www.mywebsite.com/cpanel and press the enter button on the keyboard.
  • Enter your Cpanel username and password. When you’ve correctly entered the details, either click Sign in or just press the Enter key on your keyboard to log in.

  • If you’re already in the Control Panel dashboard, locate and click on ‘Webmail’ from the Mail category. This action opens the Webmail page.
  • There you are! You are just a step away from creating a webmail account. Enter your desired username in the option provided. Example, ‘Support’ and the outcome would be support@mywebsite.com. Enter your desired password in the field specified. Use the password indicator as a guide to creating a strong password. Alternatively, you can use the password generator button to generate a strong password for email accounts.

Tips: Make your password very hard to guess but easy for you to remember. Combining your passwords with numbers, uppercase and symbols is a great way to create strong passwords.

Click “Create Mail” button. Now you can create as many webmail accounts as you wish. But this can only be possible if your hosting company allows you to create more.

Normally, When purchasing a new hosting plan, they specify the number of E-mail accounts that can be created with the plans. If your intention was to create as many email accounts, I will suggest you acquire the plan that supports unlimited email account.

Now that you’ve successfully created your official webmail accounts, emails can now be sent to these addresses. When it’s time to check your emails, simply follow this procedure.

  1. Open your browser and on the address bar, type in your website’s address followed by a forward slash (/) then webmail. example (www.mywebsite.com/webmail).
  2. Press the “Enter” key on your keyboard. If it prompts you for credentials, which of course it will; enter the email address you wish to check; example, info@mywebsite.com and the password, then click “Sign in”.
  3. The next screen will show the three webmail services with which you can use either to access your mail.

You can set to automatically load your emails by clicking the auto-load link at the bottom of each email service. Here you can set the number of seconds you wait before it loads.

Click any of the Mail services, e.g. Horde. Wait while it loads your emails.
