  • Search for the Backup & reset tab, click it and pick the option “ Back up my data”. This will take care of all your app data, WiFi passwords, chrome bookmarks and other settings data.
  • Now, go to accounts & sync. Tap your Gmail account to check what is synced to your account. Ensure you sync all applicable apps include Contacts, Chrome, Play Music etc to keep your data safe.

2. Update proper

Now it is time to update your Android device to the latest Android version. The first thing you should do is click the Settings app on your device.
